As we look back on the past year, it’s been an exciting and rewarding one across all Banks Homes developments. From new show homes and sales launches to strong completions, glowing customer feedback and meaningful community involvement, 2025 has been a year of real momentum as we continue to establish ourselves across the region.
Cathedral Meadows – Highlights of the Year
Cathedral Meadows has been at the heart of a standout year for Banks Homes.
Last Christmas marked a major milestone with the opening of our first showhomes on the development. The launch of the Kirkham and Beaumont showhomes gave customers their first opportunity to experience our design, quality and attention to detail in person.
Throughout the year, we were proud to complete 46 new homes, helping many customers move into homes they love. Customer feedback has been exceptional and truly reflects our commitment to quality and service:
“We knew we wanted a house in this development and we were lucky to secure the exact plot we wanted. Moving in we had a small number of snagging issues but these have been dealt with very quickly. The whole Banks team have been great and we would definitely recommend buying with them.”
“I love my new home. Its modern layout is quite appealing. I’d definitely recommend Banks Homes. Site team and customer care is amazing.”
“Quality houses built by a professional and welcoming team.”
As a newer name among mainstream housebuilders, feedback like this has been particularly rewarding:
“We have found Banks to be above our expectations from our initial sales contact experience to the on-site personnel. Snags have been minimal and resolved quickly. We would highly recommend Banks Homes for your future purchase.”
Supporting Our Communities
Community involvement has remained a key focus this year. At West Rainton, we were delighted to welcome a local school visit and to sponsor the school’s music band room, demonstrating our commitment to the areas in which we build. This work was recognised with a shortlist nomination for the Community Initiative Award at the Housebuilder Awards.
Growing the Team
We’ve also strengthened our sales team this year:
- Julie joined us as Sales Executive at Cathedral Meadows and has made a tremendous start, receiving excellent feedback from both customers and colleagues.
- Sarah joined the team ahead of a hugely successful launch event at The Pastures, playing a key role in delivering strong early reservations.
- Linda joined us at The Cornfields in Yarm, supporting a major year of progress on the development.
- Phil joined us as Sales Manager, strengthening the growing sales team.
Homes Ready to Move Into & Move Assist Success
Across our developments, we’ve introduced new homes ready to move into, alongside attractive new offers for customers looking for a quicker move.
Our Move Assist scheme has also proven highly successful, supporting customers who needed help selling their existing home and unlocking new opportunities to move.
Development Updates
The Pastures, Hambleton
Interest has been extremely strong, with pre-reservations proving very popular ahead of the official launch event. Demand has been particularly high for bungalows, highlighting the appeal of the development even before doors officially opened. A hugely successful launch event at Camblesforth Hall and Grange saw six reservations taken on the night, alongside two Move Assist reservations. Our on-site Customer Experience Centre opened in December, with showhomes and first move-ins planned for next year.
The Cornfields, Yarm
This year marked a significant milestone with the launch of our first Banks Homes own housetypes, including the Sheraton and Hawthorne showhomes. The on-site Customer Experience Centre also opened, and we proudly supported Yarm Rugby Club through environmental improvements, reinforcing our commitment to the local community. First reservations have now been taken, with the first homes due to be ready to move into in 2026.
Symeon Court, Durham
It’s also been a milestone year at Symeon Manor and Symeon Court. We were delighted to see the final homes reserved at Symeon Court, marking the successful close of the development.
At Symeon Manor, this one off six-bedroom home has now been professionally staged by Furnish and will be ready to move into in the new year – perfectly prepared for their future owners, whoever the happy buyer will be.
Looking Ahead – What’s Next for Banks Homes
Looking forward, our pipeline continues to grow, with a number of exciting new developments on the horizon. Customers can now register their interest in upcoming locations including:
- Castle Hill, Harrogate
- Wynyard Pines, Wynyard
- Kingston Village
Alongside these, there are several other developments progressing behind the scenes as we continue to expand our presence.
With new launches, showhomes and move-ins planned, 2026 is set to be a landmark year for Banks Homes, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Banks Group – a significant milestone that reflects our long-standing commitment to quality, communities and creating places people are proud to call home.
We look forward to welcoming even more customers to Banks Homes as the journey continues.
