Housebuilder Banks Homes is set to formally launch its first residential development in North Yorkshire at a special event later this month.
Preparatory work is underway on a new site in the village of Hambleton, which has been named The Pastures and which will include 62 high-quality private and affordable homes of different sizes and types, including ten bungalows.
The Pastures will have its official launch from 5pm on Thursday 16 October at Camblesforth Hall near Selby, with members of the Banks Homes team on hand to talk to visitors about the range of properties that will be available.
Representatives of some of the high-end brands that will have products in the new homes will also be at the event, including Omega Kitchens and bathroom designer Porcelanosa, while mortgage finance and property law firms will also be available to provide expert advice.
Nine different property types from the Banks Homes range will feature at The Pastures, with the first show home expected to open in spring next year and the first homes scheduled to be ready for occupation by the summer.
Each home will feature an advanced Hive heating system, a full range of kitchen appliances, a Ring doorbell and a fully-turfed rear garden, while some of the properties will include underfloor heating and higher ceilings
New wildlife habitats and areas of public open space will be created around the development, with other sustainable design features including air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points.
Aisling Ramshaw, head of sales and marketing at Banks Homes, says: “Banks Homes creates sustainable, contemporary living spaces in desirable locations that enrich our customers’ lives and we’re excited to be sharing full details of how we’ll be realising this vision at The Pastures.
“The formal launch of our first development in North Yorkshire is a landmark moment for us and we’re looking forward to welcoming potential homebuyers to Camblesforth Hall to show them everything that it will offer.
“The Pastures is a high-quality development which will give more local people and families a greater opportunity to stay in the village, and there’s already been a great deal of interest from homebuyers in taking pre-reservations off plan.”
