Buying a new home is an exciting milestone, but we know it can also feel overwhelming. That’s why Banks Homes offers our Move Assist scheme – designed to take the hassle out of selling your existing property and help you move into your new home with ease.
With Move Assist, we’ll work with trusted estate agents to support the sale of your current property – and if you go on to buy a Banks home, we’ll pay your estate agency fees, saving you time, stress, and thousands of pounds.

How does Move Assist work?
1. Apply for Move Assist
Complete a short application and you’ll be referred to our trusted partner, The New Homes Group – the UK’s leading assisted move provider.
2. Get your home valued
The New Homes Group will arrange free, independent valuations from up to three local estate agents. You’ll need to supply a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) before marketing commences.
3. Start marketing your property
Once you’re happy with the valuation, up to two local estate agents will be appointed to market your property. The New Homes Group will closely monitor the process to help secure a sale as quickly as
possible.
4. Hold your chosen Banks home
When your home is on the market, we’ll hold your selected Banks plot for up to six weeks. A £250 fee** will be payable when you complete the Move Assist reservation. Once your property is sold subject to contract, you can then proceed with a full reservation of your new home.
5. Move made simple
Once your sale completes and you legally complete on your new Banks home, we’ll settle the estate agency fees directly with The New Homes Group.
Move Assist – Terms and Conditions Summary:
• An EPC is required and must be arranged and paid for by the vendor (if not already available)
• If you proceed to sell your home under the Move Assist scheme but do not complete the purchase of a Banks home, you will be liable for all estate agency fees.
• Available on selected plots and developments only, subject to status and availability.
• Move Assist may not be used in conjunction with any other Banks Homes offer unless specifically authorised.
Important Notes:
*We’ll pay up to £5,000 towards your estate agency fees with our Move Assist scheme – agreed fee will be 1.75% & VAT of your sold price.
**The £250 assisted move reservation fee is fully refundable. If you proceed to a full reservation,
it will be deducted from your total reservation fee, with a further £750 payable at that stage.
